Finding your way back to work
What to Expect
This is a session for anyone wanting help finding a job, navigating the application process or needing interview advice.
The Yard is an informal and relaxed space. Free refreshments are available. Sessions are one hour long, with a trusted job coach who will listen and then support you however they can in your journey to employment.
Your first session will be an initial assessment, where we’ll take time to understand your needs, goals, and how we can best support you moving forward.
In follow-up sessions, you’ll work with a dedicated team member who will listen to your concerns and provide tailored guidance. We can offer assistance with:
– CV and cover letter writing
– Job and volunteer role applications
– Online application processes
– Interview preparation
– And much more related to your job search
The Yard
All services provided at the Yard are for anyone who needs them regardless of ability, age, cultural background, ethnicity, faith, gender, gender identity, ideology, income, national origin, race or sexual orientation. Come as you are.
The Yard is our base for a range of community-focused initiatives including Tea + Toast, Job Club, Foodbank, Growbaby, Exploring Faith and much more. There’s always a warm welcome.
