The Power of Three
With meeting together still a challenge, we want to encourage everyone in the church to find ways to connect with 2 or 3 others for regular contact, prayer & encouragement
'For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.' Matt 18:20
These small groups of 3 are a great way to build deep and lasting relationships and give us all the space we need to share our lives with one another and be real.
Reach out to a couple of friends in the church and agree to meet up, either in person or online, once a week or whenever works - it's up to you.
Meet up for a coffee or a walk or maybe even just a phone call, but we'd encourage you to commit to meeting regularly and intentionally praying for one another.
All it takes it for you to reach out to a couple of people you know and ask them if they'd like to join you in praying for one another and connecting. You'll be surprised how much we all long for deeper, more authentic, vulnerable relationships.
So why not give it a go and see how you get on.
Small Groups: Being Family
Over the summer, as some of our small groups take a break, we want to do all we can to stay connected with one another as safely & responsibly as we can. There will be a range of groups running over the summer for everyone and so do sign-up and we will keep you updated with plans. We'd encourage everyone in the church to sign-up to at least one group - even if you aren't able to make it each week. There's no pressure to attend, but by signing-up you'll be kept up to date with all that's going on and, most importantly, know that your small group leaders will be praying for you. Once you sign-up someone will be in touch with you to give you more details.
Giving: Living Generously
A Call to Generosity
Spirituality cannot be separated from generosity and the teachings of Jesus compel us to give of our finances to those in need and to commit ourselves to an attitude of generosity.
We want South West London Vineyard to be a church where every member contributes financially to the life of the church in whatever ways they can. The amount we give isn't as important as the heart behind it. The important thing is that each of us gives what God has asked of us – He knows our hearts, our circumstances and the cost of our sacrifice.
Standing Order: The most helpful way to give is by setting up a regular gift each month. Our bank details are:

4.2.20 The Whole Word for the Whole World
Over the past few years we have committed ourselves to giving away everything that is collected through the offering baskets on a Sunday to a variety of nominated charitable organisations.
From start of the New Year to Easter we will be giving all Sunday offerings to the work of the 4.2.20 Foundation as they seek to translate and make available the Bible to the whole world.
Imagine a world where people don’t have knowledge of the creation story, the stories of faith in the Old Testament or even the 10 commandments. Right now over 6,500 languages, representing multiple millions of people, do not have the access to the whole Word of God. Most of them are without any foundation of the whole Bible.
4.2.20 Foundation is a non profit organisation committed to advancing access and engagement with the whole Word of God for every language, culture & people.
They aim to dramatically accelerate the training of Old Testament translators, checkers & consultants in order for it to be possible to reach the goal of beginning Old Testament translations in every language by 2033. This acceleration will naturally increase the supply of full Bibles available for recording and distribution among oral learners.
They are also committed to equipping translators, consultants and teachers with knowledge and tools for engaging unreached oral people with whole-Bible worldview and with the whole Word in oral forms.
HOW TO GIVE:
Financial donations can be made through the offering baskets on a Sunday, alternatively, you can donate by going to Online Giving
If you are a UK taxpayer you can claim Gift Aid on any donations by placing your offering in a Gift Aid envelope (available from the Welcome Desk & in the offering baskets). This will increase your gift by 25%.
It doesn't matter how big or small your financial gift, just put it in the offering baskets on a Sunday and we will ensure the whole amount goes to this wonderful expression of the kingdom of God.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
We believe that prayer works
There are a number of opportunities at South West London Vineyard to receive prayer. We will always offer to pray for anyone who wants prayer on a Sunday morning or evening and prayer will always be offered at one of our House Groups.
