Our Story
Who we are and where we're from
Our History
South West London Vineyard started with a small group of people in 1987 who wanted to see how following Jesus could make a difference, not only to their lives, but also to the lives of the people in the city around them.
As the church grew, it began planting other churches, which in turn planted other churches, and we are proud to be a part of a still-growing movement of Vineyard churches across the UK and Ireland.

Our Vision
God has called us to make, train and equip disciples, who love and serve Jesus, who love and serve one another and love and serve their neighbours.
God has called us to be the church across SW London through central celebration and local mission.
God has called us to plant churches across the capital by training and equipping potential church planters and sending and nurturing those called by God.
Who Is Jesus?
We believe that Jesus is the hope for our broken world. What do you think?
For some, Jesus divides opinion but it’s safe to say that he is not quite what people expected. It is astounding that a homeless, refugee carpenter from a small, insignificant town in the Middle East has become the most important person in history. There are more books, paintings, songs and poetry about him than any other person.
At South West London Vineyard, Jesus is central to our understanding of what it means to be a Christian and how we live our everyday lives. For us, answering the question, ‘Who is Jesus?’ is the most important thing you will do in your life.
One of the best ways to find out more about Jesus is through Alpha. Check out more information about it below.
