We'd love to connect with you
If you're new here or even just passing through, we'd love to connect with you
As we (hopefully!) begin to emerge from some of the challenges we've all been facing, we wanted to find ways to connect with those who've more recently come along to SWLV to see if there's any way we can help you connect to the life of the church.
With a number of small groups just getting underway (Small Groups 2022), we appreciate it can be a somewhat daunting task trying to work out which one might be a good fit. To make things possibly a little easier, Kate & Neil will be running a 6-week online group starting Wednesday 2 February and you would be MORE than welcome to join us. You can sign-up here: Connect Group: Discovery
Although it may feel like we've all spent much of the past 2 years socially-distanced, maybe we can still be sociable!? If you'd like to be kept up to speed with some purely 'social' events...pub drinks, brunches, curry nights, walks, karaoke....who knows...why not sign-up to Connect: Social We'll keep you posted as to when social events are happening which will be a great way to meet people - no pressure!
Do have a look at the Small Groups that are running (Small Groups 2022) and check out What's On (Calendar) as you'd be more than welcome to join anything and everything that's going on and, if you are new, or would just like to get in touch, please feel free to email Neil (email@example.com) & Kate (firstname.lastname@example.org) - we'd love to hear from you and find out more about your journey of faith.
You can find out more information about how you can best connect with the life of the church here: How to get Involved
However you're feeling about where things are at, please don't feel disconnected and so do reach out to us, we'd love to hear from you.
With our love
Neil & Kate
Who we are and where we're from
South West London Vineyard started with a small group of people in 1987 who wanted to see how following Jesus could make a difference, not only to their lives, but also to the lives of the people in the city around them.
As the church grew, it began planting other churches, which in turn planted other churches, and we are proud to be a part of a still-growing movement of Vineyard churches across the UK and Ireland.
God has called us to make, train and equip disciples, who love and serve Jesus, who love and serve one another and love and serve their neighbours.
God has called us to be the church across SW London through central celebration and local mission.
God has called us to plant churches across the capital by training and equipping potential church planters and sending and nurturing those called by God.
Who Is Jesus?
We believe that Jesus is the hope for our broken world What do you think?
For some, Jesus divides opinion but it’s safe to say that he is not quite what people expected. It is astounding that a homeless, refugee carpenter from a small, insignificant town in the Middle East has become the most important person in history. There are more books, paintings, songs and poetry about him than any other person.
At South West London Vineyard, Jesus is central to our understanding of what it means to be a Christian and how we live our everyday lives. For us, answering the question, ‘Who is Jesus?’ is the most important thing you will do in your life.
One of the best ways to find out more about Jesus is through Alpha. To find an Alpha course near you, take a look at Alpha's website.
