As we continue in lockdown our prayer continues to be that you and your families continue to grow in faith together. That you together:
"... being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
With that in mind we are continuing to try and resource you as families as you try to do this. We hope you enjoy our VKids at Home materials and further down, our VKids at Home worship sets.
Each week we will post materials here for you to try at home with your kids, either on a Sunday or at any point throughout the week.
We are excited to be in our journey through the book of Acts. We love this series on Acts. We love it for the awesome stories of the power of the Holy Spirit and the early church. We may think we know how to be a follower of Jesus and look for inspiration in the early church, but do we know what that looks like in lockdown and during the pandemic? We are looking forward to hearing what our families think as they look at Acts together and what it means for us now.
This week we are continuing to use Acts as our inspiration, but for for this week with a particular focus on prayer as we join with the international initiative to pray "Thy Kingdom Come".
So we’d love to encourage you and your family to take a moment over these next few days to join with millions all over the world to pray, and we’ve got some ideas to help you in this week’s resources as well a chance to talk about the Holy Spirit together as a family, it being Pentecost Sunday!

As always, adapt as you see fit for your family, and do it whenever works best for your family to do it, whether all in one go on a Sunday, or during the week or spread out over a few days.
Also the our previous weeks in Acts have other activities and crafts to help engage with the stories in Acts. In particular might like to look back at the Pentecost week especially as the church is celebrating Pentecost this Sunday. (Studio is aimed at 1-4 year olds, Gym for primary school age).
These run in a similar way to our Sunday morning sessions. We’ve included play, sensory, craft, lego and even sport activities.

If your little ones are babies you will have hopefully received an email with the Little Fish activity on it, we hope to post those activities here shortly.
We would also love our kids to continue their journey of worshipping God!
Here're some VKids worship sets for you and your kids to worship along to! Set 1 is more aimed at Gym aged kids and set 2 will be more familiar to Studio aged kids. Set 3 again is more aimed at the Gym aged kids, but accessible to all!
You should be able to find the lyrics for all the songs online, you could learn the songs with your kids and have a worship session together - you could even create your own family actions?!?

We are, we expect, planning for a situation that looks set to carry on for months rather than weeks. We will therefore be working on other ways to stay connected with you and share resources with you as you parent your children at this time, look out for more to come as we refine and develop ideas!
