VKids at Home

As we continue in lockdown our prayer continues to be that you and your families continue to grow in faith together. That you together:

"... being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

Ephesians 3:17-19

With that in mind we are continuing to try and resource you as families as you try to do this. We hope you enjoy our VKids at Home materials and further down, our VKids at Home worship sets.

The Vineyard Churches Kids Network have produced an excellent series of eight sessions going through Psalm 139 for families to do together and we think you'll enjoy them with your kids too!

It gives us a chance to learn, meditate and dig right into a whole Psalm together with our kids and see how God speaks to our kids through it; and what a great Psalm!

It's quite different from what we've been posting so far, it's stripped back, nothing to get ready in advance, it has a few fun short tasks and a few verses from the Psalm to talk about meaning you could do the whole thing over a drink and a snack or even during a mealtime, either on Sunday or sometime in the week.

Our suggestion would be to pick a time to do it each week so you build up a routine for you and your family.

Also the our previous weeks in Acts have other activities and crafts to help engage with the stories in Acts.

We would also love our kids to continue their journey of worshipping God!

Here're some VKids worship sets for you and your kids to worship along to! They are labelled Studio which is aimed more at pre-school kids and Gym - aimed more at Primary age kids, but all them are fun for everyone!

We also have Spotify playlists for the Studio (for babies too) and Gym (click on the words to link through to the playlists).

You should be able to find the lyrics for all the songs online, you could learn the songs with your kids and have a worship session together - you could even create your own family actions?!?

We are, we expect, planning for a situation that looks set to carry on for months rather than weeks.
